Hugh Lane Gallery After Hours

Mark your calendars as Hugh Lane Gallery celebrated ‘After Hours’ cultural and creative evening programme returns to take over TwinkleTown’s Spiegeltent on Thursday, Dec 4th from 6pm!Enjoy a creative milieu with live music and lots of Christmas crafting, including Christmas Wreath-making, a Mosaic workshop, Sustainable Christmas crafting with The Useless Project as well as Life Drawing a Christmas still life arrangement!Tickets available via hughlane.ie and Eventbrite. The Whileaways

Multi–folk-award nominees The Whileaways blend three voices into one breathtaking harmony. Their music — rooted in themes of family, love and place — is praised for its lyrical richness and emotional depth, with The Irish Times calling it “a tapestry that hollers to be heard live.”

Formed by Galway singers Noelie McDonnell, Noriana Kennedy and Nicola Joyce, each an acclaimed artist in their own right, the trio have released four critically acclaimed albums and toured worldwide. Known for their spellbinding live shows, they’ve earned a devoted following and widespread praise, being described as “among the finest singers in the country” (Hot Press).

Whether performing their own material or their celebrated Leonard Cohen tribute Bird On The Wire, The Whileaways deliver a mesmerising blend of harmonies, storytelling and beautifully crafted songs that leave audiences truly spellbound.

Cobblestone Collective

The Cobblestone is a long-established, family-owned Dublin pub with a 35-year track record as one of Ireland’s most respected and best-loved home of live Irish traditional music. Known internationally as a cornerstone of traditional Irish music, the pub operates seven days a week, hosting multiple live sessions daily. Some of Ireland’s best known folk musicians have come up through the Cobblestone, paving the way for the next generation that are now emerging.
