TwinkleTown is located in Dublin City Centre at Smithfield Square, Dublin 7, and St. Patrick’s Park, Dublin 8.
TwinkleTown Smithfield Square, in partnership with Dublin City Council, runs from 20th November – 31st December 2026. Please note TwinkleTown Smithfield Square will be closed on December 24th, 25th and 26th.

Our Santo Panto shows begin on the 21st and 22nd of November, with shows then taking place each Friday afterwards from 2pm – 7pm, and each Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 7pm, as well as daily on December 22nd and 23rd. Timeslots may be subject to change. Each show runs for approximately 20 minutes. For further information on our Santo Panto shows, please click here.
You don’t need tickets to enter TwinkleTown, but you’ll need them for Santo Panto, Ice Rink, Ferris Wheel and Fairground Rides. We recommend booking tickets for Santo Panto and Ice Rink online at twinkletown.ie to avoid missing out!
Ferris Wheel and fairground tickets can be purchased at the event.

Yes, you can buy tickets on-site at our Box Office, subject to availability. To guarantee entry, we recommend pre-booking your tickets on our Tickets page.
Our Box Office is equipped to take payments by cash and card.
If you’re running late, please get in touch with our customer service team as soon as possible. While we’ll do our best, please remember that we can’t always guarantee a reschedule due to capacity limits. The Santo Panto has a strict start time for each session, so we ask that you arrive 10 minutes before your allocated time to ensure entry.
Late arrivals will not be admitted and although we will do our best to accommodate you in the next timeslot, this cannot be guaranteed. Seating is not allocated and will operate on a first come, first served basis, so seating together cannot be guaranteed. Timeslots may be subject to change.
Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable unless the event is cancelled by the organisers, or as outlined in our Terms & Conditions.
Each Ice Skating session lasts 45 minutes. We ask all skaters to arrive at least 15 minutes before their time slot.
Please note Skate Aids are limited in number. The skate aids are available on a first-come, first-served basis at a cost of €5 per aid. No booking is required.
Child tickets are for those aged 12 and under, while anyone over 12 can purchase a student ticket. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult on the ice. Children under 3 are not allowed on the ice rink.
Yes, the ice skates are provided for free for every skating session.
The ice rink is located in a marquee, so please dress warmly.
The Santo Panto show is 20 minutes in duration. Seating is not allocated, so if you wish to sit with a group, we advise arriving early to avoid disappointment. The Santo Panto has a strict start time for each session so we ask that you arrive 20 minutes before your allocated time to ensure entry. Late arrivals will not be admitted, and although we will do our best to accommodate you in the next timeslot, this cannot be guaranteed.
If you are also booking the Ice Rink, we recommend that you book Santo Panto to visit first and the Ice Rink for the slot one hour later to ensure you have sufficient time between the two. Santo Panto timeslots may be subject to change.
Yes, an infant sitting on a parent/guardian’s knee does not require a ticket (up to age two). However, a ticket is required in order to avail of the Christmas gift.
Yes, in Smithfield Square, we offer sensory-friendly sessions for Santo Panto and Ice Rink. For Santo Panto, these will take place at 12pm every Saturday and Sunday the show is live.
On December 6th, selected performances between 12pm and 4pm will also feature Irish Sign Language (ISL) interpretation.

Yes, carers can attend for free, subject to availability. A valid carer’s card will be required and entry will depend on availability. We kindly ask carers to email us at info@twinkletown.ie at least 48 hours in advance with their preferred time slot to ensure availability.
The event in St Patrick’s Park is dog-friendly and the general area around the TwinkleTown Christmas Market in Smithfield is dog-friendly. However, the Ice Rink is not suitable for dogs or assistance dogs, as the cold surface is not suitable for their paws. Please email us if you would like to bring a carer to assist you, which is free of charge. Assistance dogs are permitted in the Spiegeltent.
Smithfield Square is on the Luas Red Line (Smithfield stop) and served by several Dublin Bus routes. St Patrick’s Park is a short walk from St Stephen’s Green and Dublin Bus routes along Patrick Street and Clanbrassil Street. Plan your journey at transportforireland.ie.
There are several public car parks within walking distance of both locations. We recommend using public transport where possible, as parking in the city centre is limited during the festive season.
Yes, this event is accessible for people using wheelchairs and those with additional needs. Please let us know upon booking a ticket if you have specific accessibility needs by contacting info@twinkletown.ie. Please note that in Smithfield Square the market area has a cobblestone surface.
